SHIKAKAI

Known as the world’s oldest shampoo, shikakai powder has been used for centuries to cleanse hair. We make an extract from shikakai powder that is the heart of our ShiKai Signature and Tea Tree shampoos.

BORAGE

Borago Officinalis is a well known herb which can be found in almost all temperate regions of the world.  We use borage oil in our ShiKai Signature Everyday Conditioner as a moisturizer for the hair and scalp.

ALOE VERA

Aloe vera is a natural oxygenator (it draws and holds oxygen to the skin).  It’s an effective skin renewal ingredient, which makes it soothing and protective. We use it in our ShiKai shampoos to moisturize the scalp.

FRESH EXTRACTS

We do all of our own botanical extractions at ShiKai in order to make the best products we can make.  Our unique process is time consuming, but we think it’s worth it.
