TEA TREE

Melaleuca Alternifolia, also called the narrow-leaved paperbark or tea tree, is a small shrub that grows in parts of Australia.  The oil from it’s leaves is used as a topical antibacterial and antiseptic.  We use tea tree oil in our Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner to clean and clear the scalp.

PEPPERMINT

Peppermint is a naturally occurring plant which can can be found in many places in the world.  It has a high content of menthol which can chemically trigger the cold-sensitive receptors in the skin and cause a cooling sensation.  We use both peppermint and menthol in our Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner to create a refreshing, cool tingle on the scalp.

SHIKAKAI

Known as the world’s oldest shampoo, shikakai powder has been used for centuries to cleanse hair. We make an extract from shikakai powder that is the heart of our Tea Tree and ShiKai Signature shampoos.

AVOCADO

Avocado is a fruit that is rich in vitamins and minerals.  Its oil readily penetrates the skin and is an excellent conditioner and moisturizer.  We use avocado oil in our Tea Tree Conditioner.
